A severe knee injury has forced explosive welterweight Anthony Johnson to withdraw from his main card bout with Matt Brown at the "Ultimate Fighter" season 9 finale in June. The news come courtesy of a report on FiveOuncesOfPain.

The UFC has yet to announce the change, however, the search for a replacement could be underway with the TUF 9 finale taking place in just five weeks time.

Anthony Johnson was seeking to pick up his third straight win against Brown following wins over the likes of Kevin Burns at TUF 8 finale back in December and Luigi Fioravanti at UFN 15 in February.

TUF 7 cast member Matt Brown is coming off an impressive win over Pete Sell at UFC 96 back in March and is now 3-1 with the UFC. Brown's lone loss was a controversial split decision to Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 88.

The TUF 9 Finale headliner is a crucial lightweight bout between Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida. Also featured on the card will be the lightweight and welterweight finals from this season of The Ultimate Fighter as well as a lightweight bout between past "Ultimate Fighter" winners Nate Diaz and Joe Stevenson.
