Recently, Mike Straka, the host of AXS TV's "Fighting Words with Mike Straka," revealed through an episode of "The MMA Beat" that UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre wants a $50 million dollar payday to accept a fight against UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
St. Pierre admitted that he has not read the whole statement, but while he stated that the information is untrue, he denied further comment.
In addition, to revealing that St. Pierre wants $50 million from the UFC, Straka also revealed that the current champion makes an estimated $8 million dollars per fight. St. Pierre is currently in France and didn't offer further comment on this point either.
