Gouveia Confident He'll Pull Out a Victory
by Gavin Vincent on February 12, 2009

Wilson Gouveia has convinced himself he will come out victorious against the middleweight contender Nate Marquardt at UFC 95.

Gouveia states, "He is good at everything (referring to Marquardt) but not great at anything." Seems pretty contradicting as Marquardt refers to himself as Nate "The Great". Gouveia isn't buying any of it and feels his overall size and strength will expose Nate and show all watching "The Great's" weaknesses.

Gouveia (a black belt in jujitsu) doesn't  mind standing and prefers to in all his fights. He is very comfortable fighting on his back but finds more success standing up. He wants to deliver exciting fights and display his all-around MMA skills with each opponent he faces.

"I think a win over Nate will put me right in-line for a title shot. I'm not saying that it's gonna be easy but I'm for sure I knock him out." -Wilson Gouveia
