Miguel Torres is back in the UFC after being released from the MMA giant earlier this month according to mmajunkie.com.
Torres was released from the promotion after he tweeted a controversial joke involving rape.
"If a windowless van was called a surprise van, more people wouldn't mind going for rides in them. Everyone likes surprises," said Torres on this twitter account.
UFC president, Dana White, didn't find anything funny with that statement nor did he catch the reference to Workaholics, a Comedy Central sitcom, and terminated Torres' contract with the UFC shortly thereafter.
Since then, Torres has made donations to local rape centers as well as contributing as a volunteer. He has also attended sensitivity classes. Clearly Torres regretted his actions and White has decided to give him another chance. It also doesn't hurt to be one of the top bantamweight fighters in the world.
Torres last fought Nick Pace to a unanimous decision victory at UFC 139. The date and opponent for Torres' next fight is unknown.
