UFC 106 LIVE ROUND BY ROUND:

Amir Sadollah vs. Phil Baroni:

Round 1: Baroni comes out swinging as expected.  Sadollah grabs the head and lands couple of nice knees but Badass keeps swinging wildly and he's landing punches.  They clinch to the fence and exchange with neither fighter having a clear advantage.  Baroni scores a takedown.  Sadlloah pulls guard and immediately starts looking for an arm.  Baroni lets him up and lands a left hook.  Sadollah answers with a nice kick to the body.  They exchange some blows and Baroni is cut at the left eye.  Sadollah scores with two strong knees and two more as the round ends.  That secures the round for Sadollah on our card, 10-9.

Round 2: Baroni is battered and appears gassed.  Sadollah smells blood and comes out throwing kicks and punches.  Baroni refuses to go away easily as he lands a nice right but Sadollah responds with a straight kick then lands more knees and another front kick.  Baroni lands a combination but his power is drained.  Sadollah with a big elbow to the head then some knees to the body.  Baroni's hands are dropping and Sadollah is scoring.  Baroni is still landing occasional shots but at this point they have little effect on Sadollah.  The round ends in a clinch with another 10-9 for Sadollah.

Round 3: The third round begins in the same fashion with Sadollah being the fresher of the fighters.  Baroni keeps fighting and is throwing with everything he has, knowing he needs a finish.  Sadollah's kicks are accurate and scoring at will then he's following up with punches and elbows.  A straight kick to the body by Sadollah is answered by a nice left by Baroni.  Sadollah scores with some nasty leg kicks then hurts Baroni with a high kick.  Baroni is now bleeding from the head and Sadollah is punishing him...
